I first heard this track via the tumblr Don’t Die Wondering and i haven’t been able to stop listening since then. If you want to know what type of “modern” music I am digging really hard for this would be it. It’s got this experimental element infused into synthed out lazy sun-drenched 60s pop sound. It’s absolutely wonderful.
Painted Palms is this duo of cousins Reese Donohue and Christopher Prudhomme, located separately in California and Louisiana. Where they build there EP Canopy, which you can download for freeeee.
